Questions
What's an entity?
Anything with its own books: a business (an LLC, corporation, or sole proprietorship), a trust, a household, or just you. A business's DBAs (trade names) are all included at no extra cost. Have a second entity, like another company or your personal books? It has its own books and its own subscription.
Is the Founding price really for life?
Yes. Keep your subscription and you keep $19 per month. If you cancel and come back later, the regular price applies.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. Prepay for a year and get 2 months free: $290 per year instead of $348, or $190 per year for Founding Members. You can switch between monthly and yearly at renewal.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Start with 30 days free. Add a card only if you decide to stay.
Is desktop the same price?
On a subscription, yes: same app, same features, same price, and you can switch between online and desktop whenever you like. Or buy the Desktop license once for $499.
What happens when the Desktop license's year of updates ends?
Nothing stops. Your copy keeps working, with your books, forever. You just won't get newer versions unless you renew updates for $149 per year, whenever you choose.
Why do bank feeds and cloud backup need a subscription?
They run on our servers and cost us money every month, so they can't be paid for once. Everything that runs on your computer is yours with the license.
Are there limits on invoices, bills or brands?
No caps on invoices or bills, and unlimited DBAs.
What if I cancel?
Export everything first. It's yours. Desktop books still open read-only after you cancel, so you never lose access to your history.
